Packaged water can be divided into two major categories, each with its own distinct standards.
CNS 12700 "Packaged Mineral Water"
CNS 12850 "Packaged Drinking Water"

The table above is organized based on the CNS standards. Mineral water must be sourced from a mineral-containing source and cannot be sterilized by heat.
Drinking water regulations are relatively relaxed.
